Satellite pagers

Person wanted to keep in touch with other family members that were in different states under bad conditions.... ie; like Fla, NC.

I currently use an old SPOT messenger which is a low orbit satellite pager. ( doesn't need cell service ) It does require a subscription but I share my unit with other members of family when they travel/camp/hike/etc. Units cost about $180-350 depending and subscription runs $12-30 monthly depending on options.
