Starting tomorrow I'll be gone, i.e, on vacation and away from my computer.
Flying to Ireland tomorrow for 8 days, then to Iceland. In Iceland we get on a ship and visit Greenland then Nova Scotia then get off in Boston. Be gone until August 31.
This was a trip we booked 2 years ago, postponed twice due to covid.
If I don't touch base between now and then have a good rest of the summer.

In Dublin. Toured the Guinness brewery and saw the ancient Book of Kells today at Trinity College. Now sitting at a Irish pub eating Irish stew and drinking Guinness . Good day!

BTW, my first beer in a very long time on keto.
Giant's Causeway and Belfast in northern Ireland yesterday. Interesting city but that's one effed' up situation. There's still a wall around the Catholic quarter.

Here's something to bring up to the anti gun types. Both Northern Ireland (part of the UK) and and all of the UK as well as the (Independant) Republic of Ireland pretty much ban guns. If there are no guns why do the police (aka Garda) all wear bullet proof vests? How'd that work out for NI during "the troubles"?
