Well, wise things are worth a repeat ;)
A man cannot call himself peaceful if he is not capable of violence. If he's not capable of violence he isn't peaceful, he is harmless. There is a distinct difference.

I ramble on enough, so no repeats are needed. :D

Update...

Had my Escort Slugger up at the woods house this weekend testing out 12 ga reloads. Ran through about 30. Ate them like candy. Thinking about taking it to a 2 hour shotgun combat course next week. It is very smooth, more so than my Moss 500.

I had the 500 up as well with the turkey bbl on it to pattern turkey shells. Those 3" Magnum turkey shells sure do kick.

And.. thinking of buying a long Escort bbl with chokes for the slugger. They make a hunting version and I just found out they sell the longer barrels though they are not on their website. That would give me a backup turkey hunting shotgun with removable chokes.

The SG combat course should definitely put the Slugger through it's paces and show any issues.

The course is a 2 hour quickie class at a reduced rate. 50-100 rounds.

I've never taken a shotgun class so thought it'd be fun and introduce me to this training operation for potential future classes.

BTW, its 22 F and snowing up at the woods house this morning. And.. 6 deer are standing in the yard.. Happy Easter.

This snap on fiber optic sight is way cool. It just pops when you raise the barrel.

The stock on the Slugger was pretty slick. I noticed it when I was shooting it up at the woods house particularly with heavy loads. Took it to the basement last night and stippled it. It was my first try at stippling, not a great job but it improved the grip significantly. Got the 2 hour combat shotgun class tomorrow.
