John Stossel is suing Facebook after Facebook’s ‘fact-checkers’ labeled climate change information that Stossel posted as “false and misleading”. n its response to Stossel’s defamation claim, Facebook responds on Page 2, Line 8 in the court document (download it below) that Facebook cannot be sued for defamation (which is making a false and harmful assertion) because its ‘fact-checks’ are mere statements of opinion rather than factual assertions.

Well, it is nice of them to confirm in a court document what we already knew. Know if we could get the media to admit the same.

Just one of the reasons that I decline to have a social media account like face book, twitter - social commentary censoring.
Another reason is harvesting of advertising data from subscribers.
Another reason is targeting advertising at subscribers.

My Podcast guy posted a YouTube vid, and made sure to post links "below" to back up everything. It was pure Covid facts about things that had happened. i.e.; Fauci said no masks, then masks, the CEO of Pfizer said two shots 90% effective at preventing, then two shots are inneffective at preventing contracting or spreading.

I'd be ok if it was a truly private entity. My guitar forum can ban anything they want. But FB, Twitter, etc. get subsidies, tax breaks, and direct requests by the government. SO, not really a private platform...
