Uoline Led Flashlight

Mac and I ordered several of these lights last year. The two that I ordered came in pretty quickly. They were slightly different from each other (flashlight lotto) with one being a little thicker in the handle area and head. But marked the same and similar with the ability to use either an 18650 or a 3xAAA holder included. They were $5.58 last year and have gone up to $7.99 but still a decent light. And very bright. Not a bad light for walking the dog, putting in a pack or keeping by the back door. Simple high, medium, low, strobe and SOS with memory. Nice little plastic box that could be reused for something and a decent carbiner. Has a 62% 5-star rating.

Thank you for the review. For walking the dog I use a Sipik sk98 with 18650 battery. The whole set up cost under $12 WHEN purchased. Would probably be $17 including tax today.I was able to obtain 30 night walks before recharging.

I bought one, then liked it so much bought another. My wife saw them and decided they would make good stocking stuffers for Xmas so bought three more for our adult children.

I appreciate what Mac66 did. My family probably doesn't know how to check a battery or what is a rechargeable battery, so I stick with giving the AA Sipik sk68. Doesn't require them to think or move outside of the comfort zone. (I am not belittling. I am researching how to use a cell phone. People either have to learn or want to learn.)

Sipik sk68s are great little lights. Everybody in my family got one years ago. For the price I thought the Ouline was a good alternative as an additional light. It is a lot brighter than the sk68. It uses 3 AAA batteries in addition to a 18650.

I definitely like lights that provide options. In this case you can use an 18650 to have a really bright light or 3xAAA to have a commonly obtained power source. I like to have one of each as back up if using them outside the house.
