Nicely done. Looks very good. And it should really protect the mag as well.

Well, they are pretty easy to stick together using glue and rivets. I keep buggering up the rivets so the next ones will be sewn. Not really too worried how they look since they will be inside a pocket.

Been thinking about turning the rough side out. That way the pouch is less likely to be pulled out with the mag since it offers more friction/resistance to the inside of the pocket. Probably doesn't make any difference but worth a try...however, I just realized that I already molded the pouches to the mags with the rough side in. I would have to wet them and remold them the rough side out. Since I already wrote what mags they fit on the rough side I'll have to wait for the next batch to do the rough side out thing.

And here's the P97 mag holder, which will also hold a 1911 mag. I intended to sew this one but couldn't find my leather needles (until after I finished). I also ran out of rivets so I used a snap head. I like to stamp the year on the stuff I make so I can remember when I made it. In this case I stamped it on the wrong end and side. That's the marking on the top. I must be getting old.

Again, it ain't pretty but it works.

Actually it isn't bad looking at all. It's got that 'distressed' look that folks pay so much money to achieve :)

It would be interesting on your next batch to do the rough side out to see if it offers any more friction in the pocket. It might.

Just got done carrying my P97 IWB and extra mag in the pocket clip pouch including visiting my son on the other side of the state. We walked around his town all day yesterday in shorts and a t-shirt. Walked about 5 miles. No problems carrying at all.

And....I've also been carrying my Leatherman with the attached clip. It's held up for a couple weeks so far. I may make a clip pouch for it (another one) just to see which one is better. So far the belt clipped tool is pretty convenient to carry around.

Finished a couple of the rough side out pouches today. They are for double stack 9 and 45 mags. A little more refined than earlier versions. I don't think the rough side out makes any difference in extracting the mags or retaining the pouch. I actually like the finished side out ones better. That's the single stack 45 mag in the middle and the LC9 mags on the right.

I put a belt clip on my XD45 and carried it IWB for a day. Lots of running around, driving, in and out of stores, working in the yard. When I pulled it out of belt at the end of the day the clip fell off. Back to the drawing board for that one. Hopefully, I can reattach the 3M tape. On my P97, I put a second piece of tape over the first and that helped fill in the bow in the clip. The XD is now clamped with the clip trying to get the second piece to hold tight.

And you're not concerned with the trigger uncovered even though it has a grip safety?

Grip safety and trigger dingus thingy. No, not worried. My LC9s pro only has a trigger dingus, not worried about that either.

I made a double mag pouch for my TX22 mags. I figure it will help with training. Been running through reloading drills with it. Works pretty well.

And with my belt/pocket clip pouches.

Those pocket clips will also work on a belt so you can carry a single pouch clipped onto your belt, IWB or just inside the belt. I carried my LC9 mag pouch clipped to my belt for a couple days.
