Black python. It’s a knock-off but doable.

Close enough....

I REALLY gotta paint my AR Pistol and get back on this. I would have taken it on a trip last weekend.

I think the next 5 months is going to be prime time to up the defenses, particularly if out on the road or out of town. A SBR/PCC/pistol go-bag is a prudent idea right now. It can be small and discrete yet provide defensive options. And I stress the term defensive. No reasonable person is looking for an issue. No reasonable person wants to find themselves in the middle of a situation. But if it happens it would be good to have as many options as possible.

Another thing to consider including would be a less-than-lethal option such as O.C. spray. Perhaps even one of the larger units. Although many of the Antifa/BLM crowd are wearing face coverings and even gas masks to defeat these less-than-lethal options. But at least it would be an option.

Never a bad idea to have spray handy. Actually have some in my gun closet.
- Easy add to a glove compartment

I mean, My #1 AK has a folding stock and QR optics. I could throw it in a guitar case easily. Still - the little AR would be excellent...

Be careful about keeping O.C. in the car in summer. That 0-ring can and will give out and you'll have quite a mess. Ask me how I know this :)

On another note;

Never, especially when riding a bike, spray it into the wind at a dog.

We will not discuss this further....

It's a cheap no-name bag sorta like a Maxpedition Falcon II. No where near the quality of a Maxy, but I used it for work and it's doable for now. In the photo above you can see I have one of my Glo-Stiks attached to the front. It's easy on/off and can make it easy to identify in the dark if/when needed.

Opened up on the large compartment I have my folded up Keltec Sub 2K with WML. Pretty much a perfect fit. Mac will recognize the knife, it's a Bahco Carpenter knife aka Mora knife that is scary RAZOR sharp. Small IFAK that also has a couple of extra 18650 batteries.

The other compartments contain;
  • Couple of Glock 17 mags
  • Box of 50 FMJ extra
  • Universal gun cleaning kit like I have pictured on page 1
  • Israeli bandages
  • Convoy S2+ flashlight
  • Sawyer Mini Filter
  • Pens, chapstick, Bic knock-off light
er and a few other odds and ends

It's a work in progress. Gives me just over 100 rounds of 9mm in the bag to compliment what I have on my person. My vision is that this is the go-bag I'd toss in the car if I were heading out of town on a trip. If that were the case I'd switch up my EDC on-body to my G26 for compatibility. Or at least toss the G26 in the bag for a spare. There's room for a pistol as well.
I wanted to touch on the point in bold above. If the go-bag is big enough for a PCC then a compatible pistol would also be a good idea as well. The pistol in the bag doesn't necessarily have to be compatible with the EDC, but it isn't a bad idea.

Thanks :)

It's a small bag so it's actually pretty easy to transport back and forth to the vehicle if I wanted it (like going out of town or whatever). And it doesn't take up a lot of room in the car if I want it in there. If for some reason I was to have to go on foot, it's small/light enough that it wouldn't be that big of a pain to carry.
