Colloidal silver is silver diffused into water. It is a natural antibiotic that has been used for thousands of years and also used as a cream for burn victims. You can purchase it, which can be expensive. Or, you can make it yourself for pennies. In short, it destroys the cell lining of bad bacteria, killing them but doesn't affect the cell lining of good bacteria (because they have a different cell structure/membrane). Thus, unlike regular antibiotics, you can take colloidal silver and it won't kill off the beneficial bacteria in your gut which is where your immune system is located.

Colloidal Silver
A man cannot call himself peaceful if he is not capable of violence. If he's not capable of violence he isn't peaceful, he is harmless. There is a distinct difference.

As a healthcare provider I am bound to practice using scientific principle and evidence-based knowledge. That by no means excludes complimentary forms of treatments. Having said that I throw this out as one of the many academic sources of info of colloidal silver. The burn creme mentioned is Silvadene and has been shown very effective on burns and is in my FAK but internally is questionable. Much comes from those who sell or otherwise are invested in the product

Re: Colloidal Silver
I know there is the story of the guy that turned a blue tint. He took far too large a quantity for too long a period of time. We've been making/using colloidal silver for over 20 years. Not as a daily supplement, rather on an as-needed basis. My brother is the one that educated me on colloidal silver. About 25 years ago when he was a traveling pastor he was visiting an old country church to speak. He had a nasty eye infection that closed up his eye. As he was on the road he didn't have the means to properly address the issue. The pastor of the church he was going to speak at was well-versed in old school remedies and sprayed his eye with the silver. The next day the eye was open and the infection was on it's way out. It's a great topical and can be taken internally as an antibiotic if needed for bacterial infections. Proper way would be to take maybe a half of a shot glass of colloidal silver a couple of times a day for several days until the illness is on the way out. This is how we've used it as well as cuts, burns and other topical applications. If I'm feeling a sore throat or something coming on I'll take a half shot glass full and maybe six Wellness Formula (an OTC supplement of herbs) and I'm almost always fine the next morning. So again, on an as-needed basis for short periods of time.Quasar86 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 5:42 pm As a healthcare provider I am bound to practice using scientific principle and evidence-based knowledge.
