I've had a Gen 5 Glock 19 for years. I like a Glock 19 but honestly the grip is just a tad short for my hand. I can shoot it very well, but a full size Glock frame simply feels better to me. Same for my son. I have him the G19 a while back but he gave it back to me as it's just not comfortable to him. He likes his 19X much better.

Lately he's also expressed an interest in shooting my G45 with of course is a G19 slide on a G17 frame. It's probably my favorite Glock overall, though the 19X is a close second.

Well this morning I was perusing the local BST gun site and a guy was looking to trade a new G45 frame for a G19 frame. We met up and now the G19 is a de facto G45. My son is excited to shoot it!

I've never liked the "midsize" grip length. The 17 was always the better choice for me. With optics pretty much negating the benefit of sight radius, 19x/45 size pistols make so much sense now.
My XR920 is just about perfect.

Over the years I've had several P30sk pistols; LEM, DA/SA with MS, DA/SA w/o MS. I carried the LEM as an off-duty pistol for a while.

Just picked up a DA/SA V3 (w/o MS) with a BG code (2016 build date). Looks to have been shot very little. Only the faintest of smiley on the barrel and the mags look brand new. Came with one 10-rounder, five 13-rounders and one 17-rounder and an IWB holster. The 10-round is flush and the other mags have the extended base plates. Also came with TFO night sights with the orange front site insert. Look to be very bright.

I had an extra Sig P229 in 40 S&W, night sights and three mags that I traded even.

Gonna try to get to the range today to vet it. Very tempted to make this my EDC for a while.

I bought some bikes to ride around in the villages while we are down here and I'm setting them up with needed accessories. Rear bike rack & bag, water bottle holder, odometer/speedometer and a headlight/taillight.

The stuff ordered on Amazon has been showing up all week.

The headlight/taillight cost $9, is usb rechargeable and is 1200 lumens. Comes with a strap mount that is QD and fits on the handlebars. It has 4 modes, full, medium, low and strobe. Lasts for 3.5 hours on high. 4.5 on medium. 6 on low and bout 7 on strobe.

Though we rarely ride at night I bought one set for both my wife and I. Got a chance to ride around the neighborhood last night. It is really bright.

Which got me thinking about using it around the house as a rechargeable flashlight and or mounting it on a rifle as a weapons light. I pulled my wife's off her bike and mounted it on the 22 rifle I brought down. Straps right in the forestock.

Would be pretty easy to tape it on other rifles like the Keltec SU16 I brought down. It is of course CCC (cheap Chinese crap) so it'll be interesting to see how well it holds up.

May not be the best for everyday use but in a pinch it might be useful.

Update...I just realized I didn't say what light I bought. It is the APECYE 1200 lumen headlight/taillight combo. I remember it being 9.99 but its currently listed for 16.99. Still a good deal. I can't figure out how to link it from my phone.
