This popped up on my facebook.
If you've ever thought about getting a ham radio license this would be helpful.
On the other hand, this class seems to be kinda long. Before I took the 50 question FCC test I studied for a couple hours 2 or 3 nights before the test. I simply went online and found a free pool of test questions to study. There were a couple hundred questions from which they draw 50. I passed the test, got 2 or 3 wrong and I'm not very smart.
But some people do better taking a class. And I assume you will learn a bunch about ham radio. I just studied for the test, still don't know much about ham radio so this class might be beneficial.
Note that the times are Pacific Standard Time which is 3 hours behind EST.
He apparently gives the test on Sunday, not sure if that's free as well but you could ask.
Once you pass the test you apply to the FCC online for a Technician's license $10/10 years
