Eclipse
Re: Eclipse
We had full coverage here. You didn't miss much. It's an interesting astronomical alignment, but not the most exciting event ever.
Re: Eclipse
Seen before.... didn't even go out during time here ( 87% ).... next one in about 20 yrs but not concerned.
You can't fix stupid !
Re: Eclipse
I built a pin hole box thingy to watch it. Basically a cardboard box with a pin hole at one end and a piece of white paper at the other. Point the pinhole at the sun and it projects on the paper. I remember building one as a kid.
When I was 8 years old my parents took us in our travel trailer across the country to Yellowstone. In July of 1963 the was an eclipse so my dad positioned the trailer facing the sun. Covered the front window with aluminum foil and poked a hole in it. Covered all the windows and hung a sheet inside at the back. A giant pinhole box. The 6 of us (4 kids, 2 adults) watched the eclipse that way.

Re: Eclipse
Enjoyed the eclipse. Watched the parking lot lights come on and a few minutes later they went back off.
