kardia

Post by bdcochran »

A company named Kardia has an FDA approved heart monitor that can be used at home. I learned about it in March.

My brother went to the doctor and it was learned that he had an irregular heart beat. So, he was promptly given a shock correction. Then sent home with a recommendation to get the $130 medical device. The basic device gives readings which you can send to your doctor. You have no monthly charge. Of course, if you want a more detailed report, you can pay a monthly fee. If you want an immediate report, a doctor is available to read the same for $60.

I bought the 6 lead device. When I had a couple of questionable readings, I sent the charts to my doctor for free evaluation. I will be receiving a more advanced device for free from my HMO for use for awhile.
