NEW AR Pistol Go Bag thread!

So, along with my Zombie AR Pistol, goes my "AR Go-Bag." While my real "Go" gear is an HK USP, an AK47, and a Mossberg SG, plus a tac vest with mags, trauma kit, etc....

I have a secondary small pack for times when either loading all that up is not an option, or I need to travel light, or for a second person, or an easy travel backup. And here it finally is!

Maxpedition gear sling...standard place mat for scale.


50' Paracord, Mora knife, and canal caps visible

So, what might you add to this?

Keep in mind it is not a "survival" bag, but a survive the fight bag. Not that survival items are not potential adds.

Looks good here. I wonder if you could fit a chest plate to the backside of the pouch to make it bullet proof also, then it would be a complete battle ready system...

Ebay has various vendors that offer both hard and soft plates of various size. Last I checked they weren't all that expensive. A soft panel of an appropriate size could possibly work. And it could, as a minimum, at least offer some protection when slung across the COM.

I may very well look into this...I think it will be heavier than I want, but COM wear is an option here.

Maybe a set of soft handles on the backside to hook over your off hand/for-arm to use as a shield would make it multi use... Just thinkin.

Now but my AR "pistol" is the weapon that goes with it. It isn't big, but does not fit in there.
