Current temp is 2 below zero, still very windy. Didn't get the predicted snow, probably only have a couple inches on the ground. Too windy for it to accumulate. My youngest son and his wife didn't make it last night, still hope to see him this afternoon but the freeways are still very slick so we'd rather they don't try the drive. There was 9 semi truck pileup on the freeway they use yesterday which took 8 hours to clear.

Suppose to go to 29 degrees tonight with a high of maybe 50 tomorrow.

Well, Florida definitely decided to participate in winter this year. Pretty darn cold. It's not unusual to be in shorts and a T-shirt on Christmas day...not this year!

Well, we survived the great winter storm. Heading to the farm tomorrow to do some work, supposed to have a high of 45 and rain coming in later in the week.

Almost reached the mid 70's today, at least for a bit.

It was -5 on Christmas eve and around 2-3 degrees on Christmas day, strong wind but just a little snow. On the other hand my son on the west side of Michigan got sub zero temps, strong wind and 18" of snow. He made it the day after Christmas and we celebrated then. Temps have been in the 30s since Monday and most of our snow has melted. Suppose to be 40+ today

High of 48 today. It's steak and wine Friday, a tradition we started during Covid. I've already broken out the scotch, pre dinner. Steaks are getting ready for the grill.

Well, windows are open on the house, going to get in the 60s today. Nice and sunny. Got steaks for the grill.

Everything is a muddy mess because we melted what snow we had and ground unfreezing. Plus, thunderstorms tomorrow as we hit the 60s again. Almost feel like we are in Florida.
