Basically a pulse Ox measures the O2 content of your red blood cells by shining a light through them....It can be affected by dirty fingers, nail polish etc etc. Normal is 95% and above. Ok. So what is a pulse ox measuring? And how does that apply? What falsely affects an SPO2 reading? If anyone can find a pulse ox that DOESNT give a HR please post it and let me know…because from my knowledge base they all give HR…well because that’s how they work… Having one and not knowing what it...

The only way I'm starting a fire one handed is with a lighter. You're not kidding! I know there is a ferro rod that you can use one-handed by pushing it but got curious as to if you didn't have a lighter or that specialized ferro rod and instead just had a regular ferro rod.
