Re: Sleeping in the car

One of the best things about my 02 Suburban was that a full sized memory foam mattress fit in the back with the middle row of seats folded down. Insulated me from the floor and smoothed out the ridges.

Re: Will all PCC Pistols be considered SBR

Interesting that you think he is the only alternative. I always find it fascinating people who have only known Trump from TV or his latest bout with the Presidency. I grew up in South Eastern PA. Know a lot of people from NY from school. Trump was everywhere all the time in 80's /90's. If you think...

Re: Colt Government Model in 9mm

The proper chambering for a 1911 with a .355/.356 bore is 38 Super. 9MM is too short which can cause feeding issues. Try the heavier bullet loads if the 115 grain ones don't want to feed reliably. Mine prefers the 124 grain. YMMV.

Re: A tale of four carbines

When you were hunting deer with the Mini did you stay with the 123 grain bullets? With the 123s I never got full penetration. Once I stepped up to the 150 PSP loads full penetration with a exit wound large enough to leave a track-able blood trail.

And up until COVID19 virus crisis was a common practice in this area. Now a bunch of CVPIs have been pulled out of mothballs so each officer can have their own car. Social Distancing don't you know.

Re: IS there a police problem, and if so what reforms would be good?

Privatization is the only answer. Most jails/prisons that I'm aware of that have privatized end up going back to certified personnel. The only reason to consider it in the first place is financial, but usually ends up costing more in the end. Rather than paying a Corrections Officer X amount of dol...
