Re: Email test thread
Check your spam folders. As a general rule if the sending email address is not in your contacts it will likely be diverted to spam. Gmail seems to be more consistent with this than Yahoo.

Re: Email test thread
Got it. I need to save that originating address in my contacts--otherwise gmail sends it to spam (btw, contact now saved!) Thanks for all you do for us on the board!

Re: Flashlights for extended power outages
I picked up a Maglight ML25 yesterday at Wal-Mart. It was on clearance for $15 so I snatched it up (there was only one.) It does have the high and low modes. The low mode is quite generous lumen-wise (or so it seems) and is plenty for routine use in lights-out conditions. It is now the nightstand li...
Re: Optics
How about this to add to the conundrum-- I am seriously considering changing the 2-8x scope on my only (at the moment) scoped AR for a 3-12x model. The AR is a full rifle and the barrel is quite accurate. At some point I want to do some coyote hunting and this would be what I would use. Thus, increa...

Currently 9mm Nato and .556. this being said 2nd on the list proven reliability when in the most unfavorable conditions. 3rd was a platform that has the greatest changeability of parts, These are the r...

Re: How much does others affect your opinion?
I do actively seek the opinion of people I trust. I take into consideration what they have, what they actually use, and what they have had or used. I also take into consideration whether or not they are within the sphere of people who I would trust or have supportive interaction within a, for lack o...
Re: Optics
Yes, right now my struggle is the dot or scope question. Part of me says "dot" and keep the weight down. Another part says "scope" so I can see better at distance. Dots come with mounts; scopes generally don't. The struggle is real, people!
