Lots of storms and tornados. Damage being reported throughout the area. At one point there was seven tornado warnings going on in the area. Currently under another tornado warning.
An Amazon warehouse partial collapsed.
Guess we will head out to the farm in the morning and see if there is any damage there.

We made it through the night. We'll head out to the farm once the sun comes up to see if we have any damage there. As you can see from the link above, many others were not that fortunate. Knew it was going to be a challenging night when the weather is upper 60s almost 70 and today it is upper 30s. Everything was right for the storms to fire off.

We went out to the farm and everything was good.
Although I did get an interesting call today. Last night the airport control tower had 5 funnel clouds visible and they were working with NWS to try to track them before they had to evacuate the tower.
Well, it was also our fire departments Christmas party so the fire department was out of town at the party and in no shape to respond to calls. So, they were scrambling to find people that was on the insurance and had the knowledge to respond figuring. They started down the list and both my friend and I were on the draft list since we both had been on the fire department and because of our current roles in the Village we were already on the insurance and they knew neither he nor I drink. Thankfully, besides power outage the funnel clouds didn't touch down inside the village limits.
So, there is now going to be an active discussions about a 'reserve' status of former firefighters/police officers that would be willing to do training a couple of times a year and be available for disasters as such. I pointed out the County already had the CERT team, but they had been activated last night and they were heading to Warehouse bringing RV (communication center), lights, and generators to help out at the scene.
