Although it can be used a number of times, I believe the instructions say it is a one time use item.

If you can do Heimlich, you are way ahead of most people. Would be useful to have this in an ER room or a skilled nursing facility, assuming that the staff with a rapid turnover is trained.

It is not a device that you would normally buy and keep in the car or in the home.
