Wood pile

A couple years ago I had some woods cleared on the north part of the hunting property for a house. The excavator ripped out all the trees and stacked/dumped them along the edge. The pile of dozens and dozens of trees is a couple hundred feet long and 10-12 feet high. I'm standing on the pile in the below photo. You can see how high up I am by the trees to the right.
We ended up not building a house so have been using the clearing as a food plot. Finally got all our ducks in a row this year and will be breaking ground hopefully in May. So the pile needs to be wittled down to make room for the septic field at one end and I would like to cut the wall down somewhat before they start building.
I've been cutting the logs into pieces so that I can haul them off the pile later to be cut into fire wood. I actually spent 5 days up there last week and got a lot done though only made a small dent in it.
Here's one end of the pile I've cut through almost to the other side. Of course I have to drag out all the branches and brush and stack it in the field to burn later.
Here's the other end. That stump's root is 6-7' wide and the tree it was cut from is about 100' feet long. There are some bigger ones than that on the bottom of the pile.
I tried to drag it out with my truck but the ground was muddy. That's about as far as I got. I'm going to have to cut the roots down and then work on the stump itself before I can move. It. Some of the logs in the background are 3-4' in diameter. There are more under those.
The bad is that it's going to take a while to cut and move all the wood. The good is that once that is done I'll probably have enough firewood to last the rest of my life...and BTW I have at least 6 other wood piles at various places around the property. I've been working on the one on the back 40 for 5 years and still have trees down I haven't even touched yet.
Once I move up there I'll have time to dedicate to all the wood piles. Gonna need a tractor though.
