Staying in a hotel

Since my wife travels the US for work, she stays at various hotels. This trip was to a newly renovated Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
She has called me twice about the water faucets, then the shower. They were reversed, cold on the left and hot on the right. Maintenance had come in and fix them. Beware in a newly renovated building that can easily happen. Most faucets and tub/shower mixers are single handle units and the internal valve can easily be reversed without knowing it. DONT ASK. A person could get badly burned by this error.
