I have 4 357 guns. Two rifles, a single shot H&R bbl and pump action IMI Timberwolf. I have two pistols. A Ruger stainless security 6, and a Dan Wesson with multiple barrels.

I used to reload a lot. Kind of got out of the habit but dug my stuff out last year and loaded 3 or 4 hundred rounds of 357. Most of it was mid level stuff for plinking. I did load some SPs for hunting and HPs for self defense. Some was copper coated hard cast 158 gr lead truncated wadcutters. Those would be good for bears. Well, not good but will penetrate better than soft point or hollow point bullets. The rest were truncated wad cutters.

I figured that was probably enough to get me by for plinking or hunting should I decide to hunt with a 357. Maybe some for SHTF should I run out of other ammo.

However, I just picked up 150 rounds (3 boxes) of Rem 158gr semi jacked soft points from a guy on my local gun forum marketplace. All factory loads. $50 for three boxes. Considering factory loads are running $30-50/box I thought I did pretty well.

I'm anxious to run shoot them in all my guns through my chronograph to compare them with my handloads.

Four .357's - you need to get back into reloading.

Single shot H&R - you could make some silent .357 "minimum" rounds!
