This seems concerning to me.

I haven't read much on the topic, but the article presented on Fox is concerning that the government could control your individual cash. I know most of money is pretend now anyway, but if I have a dollar in my pocket it is my dollar. No one needs to know where I spend my dollar, it is my dollar. Yes, I realize with credit cards and debit cards most things are tracked (got to experience that firsthand, thanks DEA), which makes me all the more nervous about our government.

Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the White House and the Federal Reserve have started to lay the groundwork for a programmable, trackable, easily manipulated digital currency. It might sound like something from a dystopian science-fiction novel, but it’s all too real, and it could soon change life in America forever.

1. agreed.
2. the normal human impulse to control others . . so that our own personal environment is fixed and predictable. Then, the intent of the law ends up being perverted or the intention is not funded. An example is a federal law punishing interference with interstate commerce as a crime. Now, it is suggested that it be applied to local thug gangs that loot businesses.

I think our government has gotten to big. I don't believe the founding fathers ever imagined that the government would get this large and control so much.

Yet, then again they very well may of by the way they wrote the Constitution.

Government overreach is definitely a thing. The ATF is a prime example. The government as a whole is too large, too much red tape, too many power hungry officials only interested in staying in power than representing the wishes of the people.

Things will change though, I have confidence in that.

This court case could be the start in limiting these run away rules.
