The end of the US Dollar as reserve currency

[updated]
The BRIC nations GDP has surpassed the G7
Brazil is trading with China in their currencies
France is selling natural gas to China in Yuan
Japan is going against our Russia gas purchase cap and buying it at market price.

And just for fun...Texas is moving a bill through to create a Gold-backed digital currency for Texas. Now why would they ever be doing that???

Are you ready for the dollar to fade as the world reserve currency and what this means for the US?
Or, are you ready to participate in the only ploy left to delay it/deal with it; Central Bank Digital Currency?

Gold is a good thing to have, but it has a number of downsides as well. No one ever talks about those.

It's just a mantra people keep repeating "I have gold"

Really? Buy a loaf of bread with your gold.
Try and go to another country with your gold
Use your gold to buy something from over seas or on amazon...

The old rule, never put all the eggs in one basket applies here too

Just added some, to addition of silver in my storage.... along with lead, primers, powder :)

Diversity is the key. While gold is a good thing to have, it seems silver is even better in that it can be used more readily to purchase stuff since it's value is less. Though I keep hearing it's value is going to go up higher as it is used heavily in industry and in the medical field.

Silver is used in making colloidal silver solution as well making it an ideal prep for first aid and illness purposes.

Agree Silver > Gold for prepping.

And yes - diversification. Just like calibers. Deep and wide!

And the BRIC nations go for the Gold - as in a Gold backed currency.
