Looks like we may have some chilly weather and snow coming our way. The 50mph wind gust at 4 degrees is going to make it feel a little brisk out (it will feel like -20 to -30 degrees).

NWS issued a winter watch for us. They keep changing the forecast, last night it was going to be all rain and then turn very cold with about an inch of snow. This morning, they have removed the rain and now saying 2-4 inches of snow with high winds which could create white out conditions.

Looks like they have a hard freeze watch all the way down to Florida

My kids are coming from in Chicago (tomorrow) and western Michigan on Friday. Hopefully my son will get out of Chicago before the blast hits on Thursday evening. He supposed to fly in around 1 pm. My other son and his wife are due in Friday evening, hope they can get out. It's about a 3 hour ride from their house to mine. If they don't make it Friday, they may be able to come Saturday.

The snow fall total has been reduced to 1-3, but they have increased the chance of blizzard conditions (blowing snow with less than 1/4 mile visibility). Wind chills are supposed to be in the -30s and -40s.

My son beat the weather out of Chicago. He left just as it started snowing. I've picked him up at the airport and it's just starting to rain here. My other son isn't scheduled to leave west Michigan until tomorrow night after his wife gets off work. That will likely be when the storm is at full force there. I doubt if we'll see them for Christmas.

We got a couple inches of snow and the promised cold and wind chill. A brisk -7 this morning, with 35 mph wind gust makes it a little chilly outside.

It's suppose to be a low of 31 and a high of 49 on Christmas day for us down here. That's pretty chilly for Florida. Not the coldest I've seen, but pretty cold. It's not unusual to be in shorts and a T-shirt on Christmas day...not this year!
