If you want to keep an eye on ammo prices there is ammo seek and deals.guns that you can find prices on if you are willing to order online and have it shipped.
I know some states are hard to ship to so your mileage may vary.

Heads up! The TX22 competition slide kit is currently on sale again for $160, normally $200. Third time in 3 months. They must of realized they can sell a helluva lot more of them at $160 than at $200.
