Gotta say, very nice
Thanks. I'm back in winter mode now. I try to use the off-season to get things upgraded or fixed for next season.
I swapped the Aimpoint Micro off the blue Tippmann onto the shorty. That allowed me to try the Prism and 3x magnifier on the blue gun. It should be a nice setup for outdoor competitions that can reach out a little farther.
On a side note, the image compression app seems to work perfectly.

The end of January combatarmory.com* was selling G19 clone frames for $30 shipped. While I was in Florida my son bought a couple and I bought 1. He has a dealer that charges $20 for transfers so total was $50 ea. I went over to his house on the west side of the state today to see my grandson and while I was there he showed me another G19 frame he printed on his 3D printer.
The CA frame seems to be pretty good quality. The printed frame is dimensionaly the same but the finish is a bit crude. The CA frame comes with rails and locking block. The printed frame you have to supply the rails and LB.
Notice that the CA (on top) has a curved back strap, the printed one is straight.
The grip looks longer on the printed one but it's the same as the CA.
*they were also selling the whole G19 clone pistol for $219.99/then 229.99. Looking at slides, barrels and parts kits now, you can't build a gun for that.
I don't have 19, I had one back in the day but when I retired I got my service 22 so I sold my 19. Bad move.

The Glock clones are getting cheap and some are surprisingly good. The PSA Dagger gets solid reviews and runs around $300.
The only clone I own is a Shadow Systems and it's great so far.

My son had a dagger frame he built his 19 clone on. He EDC'd it for awhile. When he got one of the Combat Armory frames (same one as shown in my earlier post) he put that together and we tried it out last weekend up at the range at my woods house. Worked fine, shot about 100 rounds through it.
I haven't got around to building mine yet. But I will. My plan is to build the 3D printed frame with the cheapest parts I can find and build the CA with OEM Glock parts or equivalent. In retrospect I probably should have just bought the CA clone outright and been done with it but I wanted to build one or in this case two.

Sometimes building is more fun.
Taurus stuff including light

It's kind of funny how much I have invested in my Taurus's. I don't think I've bought anywhere near the add ons or accessories for any other gun like I have for my Taurus TX22 and G3c. Granted some of the stuff, optics and lights can be used on other guns and I just happened to buy them on sale at shoptaurus.com.
With shoptaurus.com having a 20% off sale I bought some stuff.
First was suppressor height sights for my G3c Toro slide which should be able to co-witness the optic. I learned that the best way to pick up the dot on a pistol is to line up the sights. That's hard to do it you can't see the sights.
The next thing I bought on sale was 2 pairs of 6 round Quickstrips for my 44 mag cartridges. These are rubber strips that hold the rims of the shells for easy loading and carrying. I was going to get some for my 38/357 but they were out of them. Maybe next time.
Finally I bought a Viridian weapons light. It's small rechargeable 525 lumen light that comes with it's own extra rechargeable power pack. It was $87 with the 20% off. Considering it came with a auxiliary power pack that I could use for other things I thought that was good deal for a weapons light.
I've been reluctant to get into having lights on my guns. Not only is it expensive to equip guns with lights but it adds more crap hanging off them. Plus I've never needed a light on a gun. I do recognize that having a light on a fighting rifle, pistol or shotgun could be helpful so this is my 3rd weapons light purchase though I've never needed the first 2. Perhaps I am slowly coming around.
Update.... I received the stuff from Taurus over the weekend. Will mount the sights this week.
The Viridian CTL weapon light is tiny but very bright. It came with a rechargeable power pack that you can use for other devices but can charge the light. That's both good and bad. The good is that you don't need batteries. If the light dies you simply recharge is using the power pack or any USB charging port. The bad is if the light dies and you dont have the power pack or USB cord with you can't just change batteries. Not to mention that it takes some time to recharge the light.
I'll probably carry it around on my G3c until I figure what gun I want it on more.
decked out G3c

My decked out G3c with, optic, barrel, 15 round mag and new Viridian light. Still have to figure out how to mount the raised sights on it. The Taurus uses Glock sights so I need a tool to remove the front sight. The raised sights are so I can co-witness the red dot.

Installed the suppressor height sights. The sights are high enough to see through the optic. Should help to line up the red dot.
Not really ready to go all in carrying this stuff but it's interesting to see how it turned out. I'll probably continue to pocket carry the G3c without the red dot and light.

I picked up another group of guns from a buddy. Several will move on eventually, but I may keep the Sig 322. It's a pretty nice little pistol.
I don't know if it's quite as nice as my TX22s, but it has some nice features.
Shot it a little today and it appears to be accurate. The 20rd mags are great too.
