Yup, the one we picked up doesn't look like it has hardly any holster wear and the guts look barley any marks from use and only $399...
Glad you found the deal as well

I'm glad you were able to jump on one too!
How were the night sights on yours? Mine definitely need to be replaced but that's fine and to be expected.
If we can hook up an SEP gathering (maybe in January) bring it and I'll bring mine.

Bob, are you familiar with Shark Coast Tactical? They quite often have police trade-in Glocks in various calibers. When I bought my G35 they also had a G34 and some G17's and some G22's. The G21's that Gene and I scored on had just come in early last week.
If you're ever in the market for a Glock it would be worth giving them a shout and it's definitely worth the drive down to Sarasota.

The sights are flat out- no life left in them, I will have to replace them also (if I want them to glo). I am excited to go shoot this one.
$400 bucks for a full sized Glock in 45acp is an awesome deal- ever since I seen Daves post about it I couldn't think about anything else!..
Other than the 3 G21's They didn't have any other police trade-ins left when we were there this past Monday.
Altho there ammo prices are kinda high they had some, also had a lot of guns.
SCT is a cool place, I will be going back.

I was talking with one of the guys there and he said they belong to a gun buyers group. Apparently the big gun stores go through a distributors which limits their access to guns whereas a gun group has a broader range of buying power. Or something to that effect. I tried to buy a blue label Glock 19X last year from the usual blue label dealers in Pinellas and Hillsborough. All of them literally laughed and said they couldn’t even order one. This was multiple places all saying the same thing. SCT on the other hand was literally getting stacks of them in for blue label. They have a FB page where they’d post pics of the stacks of Glock boxes. That’s where I bought my BL Glock 45 last year.
Anyway, they seem to get both BL and police trade-ins fairly regularly.

Never heard of them. But nothing wrong with a little adventure to Sarasota.

I finally got around to setting up my new Escort Slugger. Added a sling, stock ammo holder and a fiber optic front sight. It now rides behind the back seat in my truck. Should work fine as a "just in case" gun. That stock pouch holds 15 inside with 5 in the outside loops. 20 rounds on the gun should get me through just about anything.
Thinking about stippling the pistol grip on the stock and forearm to give if some more texture. The plastic is kind of slick.
I ran another 20 rounds of bird, buck and slugs through it the last time I was up at the new house. Went bang every time.
