I'm saying pulling a rinky-dinky little .22 in a crowd of hostiles where if only 2-10 has a Glock, will get you killed. He is lucky, not bold.aerynsun wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 2:36 pmIt can be of value in close in situations. Look at how George Zimmerman used his gun.Bob wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 10:01 pm OK - lets assume this is all as seems.
This is another great example of a guy being stupid. What is that? A .22 derringer?
What Antifa/BLM is doing is unacceptable. Not even gonna discuss that.
But what guy with gun is doing is pure foolish. Again - there is a time to stand your ground, and a time to not do that, and there is a time and a place for the use, or not, of certain weapons. This guy is a fail on both parts. This guy is as much an idiot as the St. Louis couple.
If that is waking up, he needs top roll over and go back to sleep.
I will stick with Pappy's advice. Don't point a gun if you are not going to pull the trigger. Don't pull the trigger if you do not intend to kill someone.
So if I feel the need to draw - you are getting shot. Drawing without shooting is for police and fools. He is not a cop. And the pic (assuming not shopped show AT LEAST one guy that could have put 15 rnds of 9mm his way.
He should have left. A crowd like that is there to get you to react, and they were undoubtedly prepared, physically, emotionally, and even legally.
Your "rights" don't keep you alive. It was a bad place to be, and a dumb thing to do.

Travon Martin was on top of GZ and banging his head on the ground a close in derringer would have worked also.
Close in and easy to conceal it would do damage.
