It's well past any Zippo I've ever had. These solutions seem to work well.

Day 75: Lit on the third strike. So it took a few strikes this time, but still fired up. May be starting to get to the end of it's run but we'll see.

Day 76: Lit on the first strike. Back to first strike so I'll continue to monitor.

You are very welcome. I'm having fun with the test and I'm curious just how far it's going to go...

Day 81: Lit on the fourth strike. Didn't think it was going to light but finally did on the fourth strike but was very low. So 80+ days is definitely a vast improvement and I'll call this a very successful test. So even filling it up once every couple of months rather than every couple of weeks is exceptional and imo breathes new life into the Zippo.

I pass the following on for those of us who don't smoke or carry a Zippo. I researched and the fuel apparently never goes bad. I have my zippos in a special container in the garage together with a few large containers of zippo fuel.

I rarely drive, so if I did, I would put a couple of zippos in the car with a large container of zippo fluid.

Not bad at all. Getting almost 3 months is surprising. I'd probably try to get on a 2 month schedule of refilling to be safe. That's still over double what I ever had one last normally.
