Just had another interesting talk on this topic. A VP of a company we do business with knows I'm a 'gun guy'. He lives in a gated community in St. Louis County.
When he started the conversation, I thought he was going to tell me how no one needs guns and this proves it. Instead, he said this proves that you need training and he was wondering if I knew anyone that would give lessons to him and his neighbors. I made a couple of recommendations of ranges that offer courses and he was taking it to their next 'block meeting' (I guess that is their community neighborhood meeting). He said after this incident at the last meeting the 'group' (I asked 'group'? He said the neighborhood landowners (they are gated, neighborhood that owns and maintains the streets and their little park which is only open to residents and everything is posted)) decided they wanted to get training and better organized so if the issue comes to their neighborhood they can handle it since they can no longer count on the police.
It is interesting to me how many people are feeling the need to purchase firearms and be better prepared. The more the Left talks about defunding the police, the more you are seeing people supporting firearms by purchasing them.

Well the police obtained a search warrant and confiscated the couples AR15. No charges were filed, no mention what the search warrant was for and to me it seems like PC and due process went out the window. Seems like they are being set up for a home invasion. However, a local gun shop has offered a free AR15 to them.

Here is a police problem right here: Police confiscations and the difficulty in getting property back. And don't say "It's forfeiture law!" Yeah - well why do innocent people have problems getting their "forfeitures" back?
He'll just say something stupid and polarizing that will prevent me from ever getting situated back to normal.

Looks like it was the liberal D.A. that initiated it. It also looks like the Governor is on the side of the couple.

It’s always amazing that people can’t disagree with the President of their country without being disrespectful.

The women's gun was a replica - non working; the man's wasn't loaded.
Really not a smart move to expose themselves the way they did.
