OK gentlemen....Today is the day. Dave is gonna need a lot of love and support here.
Hankies ready? Check
Extra tissues? Check
Chocolate? Check
Copy of the Matrix loaded into DVD/Netflix/Hulu? Check
And be sure to keep an apology to Dave handy somewhere. But I doubt we'll need that.

Today is not actually the day. I could be but does not necessarily need to be. The only Constitutional date is the 20th. It isn't over till it's over.

Pence declared Biden the victor.
Why isn't it over now, Dave?

Because it isn’t the 20th of January, Bob. I believe the plan had to go this way so that POTUS could see exactly who was for, and who was against him. That is now quite clear. POTUS gave every opportunity for people to do the right thing. Now it is time. You may not believe this, and that is fine. I do, and I have faith.

Dave - I'm going to hold your nose and pour strong, hot, black coffee down it.
Trump was an outsider who accidentally got through the process because the arrogant pompous asses who the people keep electing were so full of themselves they couldn't believe it could happen. He was their strong cup of of Orange brand coffee.
After he was elected, the entire might of the US Government - conservative and liberal, turned on him. And they will make sure this NEVER happens again. This is what it looks like. My call was that they would let him ride four more years to really gain momentum. Not necessary. How did Marx call it - useful idiots accelerated it on their own.
I have said it before, and will say it again: Our government has been engaged in deceit, dishonestly, immoral, criminal activity for decades, and the people continue to engage in the support of it. Why? Because they have jobs, food, and medicine and many entertainments and are for the most part comfortable. Why go to war with the greatest military in the world, when it will interfere with the big game this weekend, and you had a trip to Disney. The only thing you get is dead.
Here is reality: The majority of America do not see, whether conscious, or unconsciously what I have just said. If Covid responses, and the last four political years have not sent the message that our government is out of control, and you can't stop it, well, I can't help. Big organizations do what they do. And chew up and spit out outsiders is what they do. And that's what you just saw. Across the board.
In fact - if you COULD stop it the monster has now been so emboldened that it will just undo whatever we want. So fine Dave - we know who supports Trump now: No One.
One of my greatest martial arts teachers told me a great thing about Belief and Faith; To believe, I have to see it, or my belief changes. Faith requires no such thing. Faith can be one of the greatest sources of internal strength, and also one of the greatest lies we tell ourselves. A wise man knows the difference.
So now we are at January 20. Fine. I'll consider it my birthday present when you concede that Trump is gone. I expect you will come up with another date though. How many dates do you have to get wrong? Or are you going to do the same thing Liberals did when Trump won? Spend the next four years doing #notmypresident?
* Just watched Biden address the nation for lunch. Smug MF-er. Not gonna lie, have NO interest in him being El Presidente. That is the face and words of a conceited, arrogant, evil SOB who just learned he can do anything AND get away with it. But it's a done deal. Always was. And everyone was in on it. Except Trump.

"Never let a crisis go to waste."
This is not the time of the crisis that will tip the USA. That is a few years off. It will be when 'other people's' money runs out.
The most important things the oppositions controls are, schools, entertainment/news and politics. In short, they control the narative.

Well, there is the problem right there!
You are gonna have a lot of long sleepless nights as we head into the abyss.
Might I suggest Dunkin' Donuts as an easy on-ramp into infinitely renewable energy in cup?
