Survival and Emergency Preparedness

Well, we're close

Mini kitchen is done with the exception of putting up three cabinets. But it's functional now. Main kitchen just had the counter tops installed today. So we need the sink and dishwasher hooked up and it's completely functional. Gas was turned on so we now have hot water.

Plan is to start moving beds and such on Friday. However, right now it looks like it's going to be a rainy day. So may put that off till possibly Monday. Won't know just yet.

Heavy stuff will be moved my a moving company. That will likely be in a week or two.

Getting so close..........

Well, last night was our first 'official' night in the new house. Our heavy stuff (dressers, wall units etc) is still at the old house for movers to bring. But we got the beds and such over so that we can actually live here.

Now we've started commuting to the 'old' house to bring over stuff

No kidding. Our weather isn't like what Long Island just got, but it was cold and windy here for sure over the weekend. Finally had to but on the heater.

Well if you look at the NWS map and see that big pink blob, we are in the middle of that, so we will see what develops.

Your 60 degree temps and no ice is sure looking nice right about now.

Right now it's not the gators, it's the bears! Been two attacks in the last couple of weeks in Florida. I think I have one of the videos up in the 'Why to be armed in the woods' thread. That was an intense video!
