So far, so good here. Windy, gusty at times. Usual Cat 1 wannabecane. The westerly winds were just to much for it. Good thing Mother Nature is a good loser at times. Next time might be real bad for us. Stay ready for the next one to come along.

Nearly 4 inches of rain last night, bit of wind. The storm pretty much paralleled the coast so while the eye stayed off the coast to our west the northeast quadrant is what passed over. The NE quadrant is always the heaviest. Continued into the morning but it's blue skies here now. :)

Wasn't really all that bad here. Some bad gusty winds. Dumped the pool at 5pm and again at 11:30pm. Rough total rain at about 6-7". The nice thing is that the ground sucked it right up. We needed it badly. Only had a few small limbs from our 14 pine trees. Boy am I glad of that. Stay safe out there.

Wasn't a thing, didn't expect it to be....

But always nice to have a "little" reminder about being ready early in the season.

Still going out to clean up the yard for loose items, umbrellas, plants on deck, etc.
Better safe than sorry.
