In the past 25 years - how many market tanks were there that could easily wipe out you "very good"

In the next 25 years what is most likely to happen is the government and banks to take control of your money via their own block chains and tax the crap out of your investments to "help" you know how much you really have, and a major crash or two like in 09.

You are saying "I am going to stay put and not change or adapt"

Im saying the chance of a total market crash is unlikely. Even the lefist/socialist/commies are in the market so it's unlikely they will fool with it. More taxes? Yes probably. More .gov control? Yes probably. Will they take all my assets? Probably not.

I dont see that changing in my lifetime. So yes, I'm sticking with what has a proven track record and...hope for the best.

Edited to add....my oldest son is into bitcoins so I'm looking into it.
