Well, so far no snow, lots of flurries. Just came back in from taking the dog outside, nice 22 degrees this morning.

Coldest it's been here so far is probably about the mid-40's. There have been times we've actually gotten down into the teens but normally in the 30's is about as cold as we see. However, it seems to always be a struggle for the strawberry farmers around February and they have to keep on top of it to keep their crops warm enough so they don't lose them. Plant City has the annual Strawberry Festival and it's a pretty big deal for the area with bands and famous singers coming in, arcades, shows and such as well as, of course, strawberries.

Christmas Eve the forecast is for a low of 12 degrees and high of 20.

It's not unusual to be in shorts and a T-shirt on Christmas day here. However, it looks like a cold front is rolling through Thursday. So the high on Friday is forecast to be in the high 50's getting down into the high 30's that night. That's a bit on the chilly side for us. We'll see if it actually makes it down that far.
