Store shelves are starting to empty.
Yes, I reported this on a different forum a couple of weeks ago.
My neighborhood. Turn the clock back, lower the temperature, make it darker a couple minutes earlier each day. Of course, the non dog walkers stopped walking two weeks ago. Getting less vitamin D. Virus is spreading rapidly, no surprise.
Whether this is an extension of wave no. one or is wave no. two is irrelevant. As things opened up, I called it. People would see blue skies and green lights and go back to the former ways of living. I re-stocked.
Today, I will go and stock up on cooking oil. Last week, I took cash out of the bank. Monday, I will put in an order at the bank for multiple small bills. My bank keeps a minimum of cash on hand and I have been told that it needs a couple days warning so It can order. YOUR bank has an agreement with you that it can limit your cash withdrawals. I remember lines out the door at my bank a few months ago.

There is no second wave. It’s a MSM invention.

Yeah...is it REALLY a second wave?
Interesting question.
How many tests, how many cases, how many deaths, in what groups, independent of other conditions. If you are not told ALL of that, you are purposefully or ignorantly, being misinformed.
We did Zinc / Quercetin and it was not a thing. The hurricane was big news here because COvid/Election really isn't.

I will say - given that the death rates for this are ridiculously low for the Under 65 and not co-mobid people....
Are you ready for a REAL pandemic?
- 10% dead, every age category from birth to 90
- Stores and supply chain shut down.
10% aint much either...

That’s why I’ve been saying that this isn’t really a pandemic.

I refer to the thread title:
1. we have had a good practice in the supply chain being affected by government fiat and not the virus itself.
2. we have learned what it means to have dental and medical care closed down.
3. we have learned our shortcomings in our personal preparations.
Personally, I learned something that I really had not considered. It has to do with health. When my area shutdown in the spring, I would see whole families exercising together - biking, walking. Many of those people were overweight. Many had no physical fitness routine. The healthier people owned and walked dogs regularly.
A few weeks ago, the weather changed. The clock changed. We are losing a couple minutes a day of sunlight. I don't see many families biking or walking together. The change is not very related to things opening up. Despite the wealth in my area, people don't accept the changes of the last few weeks, dress more warmly or walk during the day.
I have a walking course in addition to home exercises. One walk a day was the standard. It didn't matter when. With the changes of the last few weeks, the standard is now two walks a day during the daylight hours, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, wearing mountain climbing boots. The last week, I had bonus days of three walks. I switched some outside exercises to darkness and dressed warmer. Other exercises could be done indoors. Just stretched out the exercising.
Things are being rationed in the stores again. I picked up cooking oil yesterday before it becomes rationed. Tomorrow, I go to the bank and draw out small bills.

Yes, health is important...how many of us went to video chats with the Doc over an actual visit ??
But also, I increase a number of thing lacking from this past shutdown... Meds and vitamins stocked to mention a couple
but along with just plain normal items ( had to build another shelf in basement )
Walking is going slow here but is happening due to knee.. good for about 1/2 hr before it starts to get sore... getting better every day tho
