I keep thinking about getting back into a 45acp platform. I had the Gen 3 Glock 21 and it was a fine pistol. But I kinda got tired of the 2x4 grip even though I used it for around 20 years as a service pistol. A buddy has a Gen 4 G21 and I liked the grip much better in terms of thickness, feel and texturing. So either a Gen 4 or 5 but I'd lean towards a Gen 5 if I do.

I've considered getting back into 45 a few times. I used to collect S&W 625s and wouldn't mind getting one again. I just can't really justify it for something that will be used once a year(maybe).

So - it's gonna be a tight one
+ People are tired of Biden and Kamala; Economy, war etc
- Lot of negative propaganda about Trump - it works
+ Very different Trump this season than last
- Shenanigans already afoot
+ Libs over sterpped things with immigration, Trans etc
- Repubs still hate Trump

If he wins, Guns and ammo for everyone. No worries (practically - he is NOT a 2A friend)
If he loses...Ammo & guns & mags - especially high cap and AR's price bump on principle?

I was really into 45s back in the day. Had about 10 1911s and a variety of other 45s in various makes and configurations. The only ones I kept was a Ruger P97. There is just something utilitarian about it I like.

I also kept my Colt Gold cup, which was top of the line back in the day and a Charles Daly 1911 which is made in the Philippines.

It was fairly inexpensive at the time but has a lot of features. I also can use it in my Mec Tec CCU which is a convertible PCC in 45 acp.

My wife has a couple 45s that she likes to shot. She likes her G21. A little bug to carry and conceal, but she loves taking it to the range and blinking with it.
