Bmyers brought up a point normally overlooked. I do keep a year's supply of vitamins/minerals/supplements on hand. Stored in a large plastic box in the garage where it is cool. I also have a small refrigerator there. It is dedicated to OTC medications and left over prescription medications.

Meds seem to be an issue... But, I manage to get approx a yrs worth stored away. Not only did doc prescribe 2x RA med per day ( I was taking one per ) and doing fine so decide to store 50%... I do rotate the older with newer too.

BTW , my health insurance allows a loss of a subscription if only once a year... Oooops it fell in toilet
