Tippmann made it through another match today without a hiccup. About 550rds of federal bulk so far with zero misfeeds, failures to extract, or failures to eject. This thing is continuing to win me over. I couldn't be happier with it.

Gotta love a good .22 :)

Just got back from picking up a police trade-in Glock 35 Gen 4. Excellent condition, night sights and a couple of mags for $450. Just a hint of holster wear on the front of the slide and a faint smiley on the barrel. Just doesn't look like it was shot very much. This is the first G35 I've owned. Don't even recall shooting one.

Plans are to get a 9mm conversion barrel as well as a 357sig barrel for it to make it a 3-N-1 pistol.

Figured it would be a good pistol to take to the Outlaw matches as well.

I would imagine the recoil gets soaked up rather well with that long slide.

Looking forward to taking the G35 to the range.

Re: Hatsan Escort Slugger

So...someone on a local gun forum posted that a big box sports store (Dunham's) has Hatsan Escort Slugger 12 ga pump shotguns on sale for $129.99. I had a older $10 off coupon burning a hole in my pocket so I went and took a look. I need another shotgun like another hole in my head. None the less...With tax I walked out with it for $126 & change.

Turkish made slide action, 5 shot mag, 3" shells. 18" bbl. Even has groves on the receiver for scope rings. It will replace my Mossberg 500 as my truck gun. I keep the longer bird barrel on my 500 in the fall for hunting, it's a pain to switch barrels when I run up to the new house every week.

I'll be taking it up to the house tomorrow to wring it out.

Here's a review of what I bought. Not my review.

BTW, I shot it today. Seems to work fine. Into the truck it goes to replace my old Moss 500.

Wife and I took a trip down to Sarasota this morning. While we were there we stopped into Shark Coast Tactical which is the gun shop I purchased my G45 and G35. They were packed of course. Had Gen 3 Glock 21 police trade-ins for $399 so I picked one up. This is the same as my duty pistol before I retired. In total I have about 18+ years of experience with that particular model during the last part of my career.

Good shape overall. Bit of holster wear but that's to be expected. Came with night sights which are dim, but that is also to be expected. And three 13-round mags. I plan of getting a set of new night sights for it. Been wanting to get back into a 45acp, particularly in a G21 so I'm glad I was able to hit Shark Coast at the right time.

Thanks. I'm very pleased with it. Would make a good night stand pistol or woods carry. I have 230+P HST to load it up with. Just need to vet it. I'd also like to have my former agency armorer give it the once over as well since they are well versed in Gen 3 G21's.

Glock emailed back with the manufacture date, 08/08/06

Yup, the one we picked up doesn't look like it has hardly any holster wear and the guts look barley any marks from use and only $399...
