RSA muzzle lug

Post by David »

Someone on GT was discussing the thickness of this part on a Glock so I decided to take a look at some of the pistols I own.

From left to right, HK USPc, Glock 26 and Sig P365.

Taurus G3. The Glock is the thinnest at this point of the slide, the HK is next (and you can see the recoil reduction system), then the P365 is pretty thick and the Taurus is an absolute beast.

Thought it would be of interest.
A man cannot call himself peaceful if he is not capable of violence. If he's not capable of violence he isn't peaceful, he is harmless. There is a distinct difference.

Take a look at the 17:45 mark. Lug shears off completely.

Are you measuring the thickness of the lug or the length of the whole tube? A 17l might beat them all if you're including the tube.
Either way it's not something that concerns me.

Both ways.

It isn't something that causes me to lose sleep. However, it is a part that is simply thinner than some other pistols and bears inspection.
