This country isn't Neo-Fascist its neo-Socialist. And I'm not sure many people understand that fascism (national socialism) and communist socialism (Lenin said the goal of socialism is communism) are two branches of the same tree i.e totalitarianism, the far left end of the political spectrum. We are clearly moving to the far left under socialism (communist style).Bob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:33 pmAnd the Republicans will support that. Because the Oligarchs in Tech and Banks do not want anyone effing with their livelihood the way he did. I have not been confused for a long long time that they were in charge. This is a Neo Fascist nation, where the Production people control the government, unlike classical Fascism where the government controlled production.
That pain Dave feels is cognitive dissonance. He still wants to believe that isn't so. And now he sees how bad it really is. So he has to cling to imaginary ropes or admit the great freedom experiment is over. I think it will 12-20 moves before check mate. But the game is over.
I still say this slows the game. Four more years of Trump would have lead to swelling Democrat Victory with a real Candidate. That would have been real bad...
Trump is no fascist, he is a free market capitalist. I never liked him but he did some good things to turn the economy around and bolster our strength abroad. If he'd just kept his mouth shut he'd have been re-elected.
