It will be an interesting day to day. My guess, lots of protest, but nothing exciting, those involved are law abiding citizens. Biggest concern is an extreme nut job from either side trying to make a point.

We had a quarter inch of ice yesterday. Woke up to rain and all the ice gone. Now we have winds 30+MPH and temps falling. Low tomorrow night, 7 degrees with 20-25MPH winds. It will be jacket weather.

Loaded a 1,000 rounds. Cleaned some of the guns. Ordered a bucket of freeze dried food. My order of magazines for the wife's 42 arrived today.

Peace of mind. I know that I have done what i could do to prepare my family and myself for most common disasters to allow us to make it though them.

I have start updating my old Craftsman battery powered tools to DeWalt tools. Going through and organizing my hand tools. Making a list of items that I will watch for sales on (screws, fasteners, etc.) that I need to restock on.

I also support the right of any private business to throw you out if you walk in "open carrying" your AR. Or they don't like the distance between your eyes, the color of your skin, or your religion. Or your shirt is ugly. Or they just feel like it. I'll throw out the guy with an AR before...
