Re: Cool gun
I've been lucky enough to shoot a bunch of full auto over the years. The conclusion I've come to is that it's mostly a novelty. A skilled shooter can put accurate semi-auto shots on target almost as fast with much more controllability. Suppressive fire may be effective if you're just spraying wildly...

Re: Who the heck is on this forum???
I'm guessing that's a mistake. I don't think we've had 200k views in the history of SEP.

Re: Added 5.56 back into inventory
Nice! What's the mag cap? Do they make extended mags (10-15 rounds or more?) Does it take AR mags? Also - thisnk about an offset red dot on there somehow. Quite the scout gun with red Dot and 15-20 rounds! It takes AR mags. That's one of the selling points for me. Came with a 10rd pmag which is jus...

Added 5.56 back into inventory
For years I've been shooting all 9mm and 22lr. I almost exclusively shoot competition and those cover my preferred games. Obviously, I still have guns for defense. 9mm pistols and PCCs fill that role well. My friends have been pushing me to get another 5.56 for longer range defense and carbine match...

Re: Air Marshal Qualification
It's almost identical to the -1 zone on an IDPA target. A 2/3 steel silhouette would be close.

Air Marshal Qualification
My group hasn't been able to shoot in a few months due to losing our indoor, winter venue. I thought we'd take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to play a little. If you have done any LE quals, you probably know that they are not known for being hard. Most departments and even the FBI have ...

Re: Glock thread
Replaced springs and smoothed that rough grip spot. Still not the lightest trigger, but knocked about a pound and a half off. I'll try to get it out for test firing soon. Weather isn't very helpful this time of year.

Re: Newest gun or latest upgrade
I've had a Gen 5 Glock 19 for years. I like a Glock 19 but honestly the grip is just a tad short for my hand. I can shoot it very well, but a full size Glock frame simply feels better to me. Same for my son. I have him the G19 a while back but he gave it back to me as it's just not comfortable to h...
