I went to my Doc for my annual old guy, medicare wellness checkup yesterday. When you get on medicare you are required to go to the Doc who asks you a bunch of questions to determine if you are being taken care of at home. they ask how much you eat, drink, pee. If you can walk, talk, stand up, sit ...

Of course I drink 4 or 5 cups of coffee in the car. This time I drank less coffee and ate more sweets in the car. We usually stop 3 times on the trip, twice for gas/bathroom and an extra time to go to the bathroom. This time only two gas stops/bathroom breaks. So less coffee and more sweets helped ...

So, we're a few months into 2025... Did a stock of my various supplies ie; meds,etc. Have backup meds for 3 months, resupplied/checked the first aid kits in the home and cars, got a full med checkup for the year. Had also a skin check for skin cancer, they froze a few spots on head that looked funny...

I'm on RA meds... but got the singles shot 7 yrs ago. Nothing since thank goodness.
The shot last 10 yrs IIRC

Best I've ever done was 1200 miles on a MC. Can say my butt was sore for a few days after.

There is a shot that protects for about 10 yrs....won't work now but for future

Assuming you mean roof mounted systems... Yes they have improved quite a bit.

Still the pay back on costs is over ten years.
