A Cheap Chinese Junk is fine for starting with. Get used to using a radio and after a while you will realize how the more expensive Japanese radios have a much better tone, feel and just overall quality. Then upgrade as you can afford.

Just get into the hobby, the hobby needs you.

If you waited till something like this to get ammo, you are not prepared. Find a low limit that you are happy with and stay there. when you shoot replace what you shoot.
