Re: A Quarter-Million Israeli Gun Applicants Prove the Necessity of our Second Amendment
"Invasion" logistics is a big reason I see that the US does NOT need to be involved in every little whatever in other countries. A completely home based defense force could easily make it nearly impossible to attack the US. For example, to get here from China - you need a pretty big fleet...

Re: Your advice to someone new to prepping
Biggest issue with the 2 weeks + is medicine. Many of us take certain meds that are prescribed and given out for 30 days. I got my doctors to run with 90 day scripts AND then manage to lose some of them. My insurance allows one loss of script per year so check out yours for same. I manage to stock ...

Re: Prep for Exposure: The Overlooked Killer
You guys down south think long pants is prepping for cold weather, which at times I'm a little envious. True  It's kind of funny, my wife and I have reversed rolls this year. In the past it could be the dead of winter and I'm fine with a sheet. Now I have a sheet, blanket, comforter, pillow on...

Re: Who fixes their own stuff?
Not exactly fixing, but I've been putting up ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, fixing some plumbing (at the old house) a bit here and there as I'm able. It's good to know some basic stuff. Trying to teach my son when he's available. Good example was last night. My son's fiance had a headlamp go out ...

Re: Sipik (SK68)
1. we have flashlight experts in this forum. however, the level of most people about flashlights it is close to zero beyond finding an on-off switch. try to remember that. Unfortunately that is true. Many/most folks don't think about a flashlight beyond the one on their cell phone. And that's fine ...

Re: Nightcore EA11 and EC11
I have the EA11 in my EDC sling bag but I haven't been able to find my EC11 since the move. Not quite sure what happened to it. Both are discontinued and I can't find either anywhere. However, I saw the Nitecore MT10C for $39 and it looks to pretty much be the same thing as the EC11 with some slight...

Re: CCW EDC sling bag
So what keeps it from sliding around the front from the weight of load and movement? You know rotating down... I like this= looks way cooler than the fanny pack but other sling packs I have move around a lot. It came with a universal holster with hook-n-loop and velcro so I can position it however ...

Re: Your next purchase/trade?
On my "Without hesitation" list: USPc 9mm in Stainless I agree, there is something about a two-tone USPc. Few and far between but I've seen them every now and again on FGT. 9mm Carbine of some sort There are several good ones to choose from these days. Stradely loves his Ruger PC9. I like...
