Re: PCC ammunition selection

I like the 124/127gr options, but they tend to be right on the line of sub and supersonic so you'll get a huge noise variation between shots. I'm usually a lightweight bullet guy, but gotta think different with suppressors. Yeah, the PCC really makes you reconsider things. Add in suppressors and su...

Re: Your advice to someone new to prepping

She told me he wrote a book about it called, 'When All Plans Fail'. I told her to buy it off Amazon and she did. We got it an...

Re: Glock

By 2000 I had decided to try polymer and picked up two HK USPs in 45 and 9mm. While I appreciated the 9mm for ease of shooting and cheap ammo, the highly touted HKs left a lot to be desired. The triggers were not great, the mag release was awkward, magazines were expensive and hard to find, and hol...

Glock thread

Well, what is a firearms section without a Glock thread :D Glocks...you either love them or hate them. Either think their beautiful or fugly. Like the grip angle or hate it. Like finger grooves or hate them. Not sure if their is another pistol, except maybe Hi-Point that engenders such strong feelin...

As I'm learning my way around the admin CP I am able to do more things to enhance the board. I've added a 'special rank' titled Forum Founder. This is being assigned to the folks that were active participants on the old SEP board and have joined and begun posting here. It should appear under your sc...

Re: Battery related experience

I use to do the plastic baggy for storage, but I ended up having a set of batteries short out and melt the bag. Since then, I have went to the hard plastic cases that keep the batteries separate and prevent any touching of the batteries. That's what I do. I have a large plastic box with dividers as...
