Re: Power banks

I got a couple of the ones with the solar panel like above from Patriot power, I think that the solar charging is just a gimmick, it takes days, 2 or 3 not really sure as I gave up and plugged it into the wall. To the companys credit buried in the fine print it stated as the solar panel is so small ...

Also, probably no need to clean with soap if you used the bottle once and it originally stored water or soda.

Re: Canned Food

Yes, date everything and rotate your preps. It really sucks to throw unused food away. It took me a while to figure out how much my wife and I eat and to not have to much extra canned goods. I have it figured out to 8 cans of about 15 different items, takes about 2 1/2 to 3 years to go through but r...

Good, old reliable Mossberg 500. Never failed me. Interchangeable barrels are great.

Re: Your EDC multi-tool

I carry a Leatherman wave at work and a super tool at home on the weekends. I mostly just use the pliers on both of them. I have a pocket knife that I use for my cutting. I have the bit set for the super tool but never used it. It's in one of my ghb's.

Re: Power banks

I have a "jolt" I got from Amazon. 5000 mh like yours.
I can charge a phone twice on a charge.

I also got two of the ones from Patriot power that have a solar panel built in to charge it. It takes a really long time to charge it with the solar. Other than that I am happy with them.
