Cleaning time

Normally I shot my firearms enough throughout the year that each one gets at least a yearly cleaning and lube. Since this is 2020, nothing has been normal. Looks like the forecast for the weekend is rain, so I will be breaking out the firearms that haven't been cleaned this year and giving them a good cleaning, inspection, and lube.

Since I slowed down my shooting I have been doing the same. I have been doing a couple guns a week and today it looks like I will do a couple rifles.

If it's of interest, this is what I use on the rails of all my pistols;

It was recommended to me by the head armorer at my agency. I figure since they have Glocks with over 300k rounds on them that maybe they're onto something.

I am trying to clean my suppressors more frequently, but still don't clean guns much.

I sat down and cleaned most of my guns last weekend. It's been awhile since I've cleaned them. I've have been using Rig gun grease for a couple decades to protect them when stored.

Every six months I run the oil over all of them, work the action, rotate mags.
